Higher Resolution for Video Playack

Current play-back resolution is limited to 720p. Please increase this limit to include the original file quality (1080p, 4k, etc).

Example: Playback of a how-to training video captured on a 1920x1080 screen renders the necessary details illegible because of small text within the video.

As other posters have mentioned. 365 Video is useless to my business without 1080p support.

In 2018, there is still a online video service that does not support full HD resolution?

This is simply Unbelievable, HD is the standard and considering my phone can record in 4k now that will be the standard by the end of 2017. Guess I have to spend money on another product now. How in the world did you miss the mark on this one Microsoft?

Just trialled O365 E3 for the video portal only to discover it's only 720p. Pathetic. I'll stick to Vimeo for 2/3 the cost where HD 1080p is the standard. Get real Microsoft, we're not all publishing lo-def Powerpoint slides.

ridiculous that this was posted a year ago and still hasn't been implemented. 1080p is a global standard by now, why can't Microsoft simply flip the switch and allow it?

Definitely need 1080p, but want the admin group to be able to control this. Also, need HD for embed code as well. Only seeing 360p and 480p.

We also want to use Office365 Video to train our employees on engineering applications like Autodesk Revit, where we do need at least FullHD (1080p).

Agreed, 720p is OK for videos of people or your average powerpoint presentation, but as soon as you have screenshots/desktop sharing/detail, it just doesn't cut it.
1080p will obviously use more storage, but perhaps give the option for it (not on by default), or make it a premium feature or something.

We use Office 365 for user guide videos for Engineering Applications. 720 is not good enough for this purpose. We need 1920x1080.

We use Ofiice 365 Video for demos of engineering Applications in 3D. 720p is not good enought for this purpose. We vote for 1920x1080 to be given top priotity!

In today's day and age of HD Video, 1080p is simply a "standard" that Microsoft is just hiding from. User Voice is a "low traffic" site that should not be used for this decision as we have used 1080p for YEARS now and YouTube has supported 1080p for a very long time.

Shame on you Microsoft for being so "cheap"
