Discoverable and Easy to Remember URLs
Accessing the main page requires a lot of thinking.
I want to be able to type video.mycompany.com, not https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/portals/hub/_layouts/15/PointPublishing.aspx?app=video&p=h.
I want to be able to type video.mycompany.com/channelabc not https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/portals/hub/_layouts/15/PointPublishing.aspx?app=video&p=c&chid=bf5c6476-834e-463d-ab2d-aa27fed44d5f
I want to be able to type video.mycompany.com/watch/video123 not https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/portals/hub/_layouts/15/PointPublishing.aspx?app=video&p=p&chid=bf5c6476-834e-463d-ab2d-aa27fed44d5f&vid=f34cdde4-e7de-487f-8f22-949bbd0477f6

Ability to generate short URL's for easier embeeding on yammer etc, with

We use redirects or vanity urls for this purpose. It is maintained internally and by our domain registrar. The original url/address will display in the browser once the page resolves. For instance, my users can type in contoso.mycompanydomain.com and resolve to their site collection.

I came here to say exactly this. The URLs are pig ugly. Compare this:
to a an equivalent URL from YouTube:
See how much prettier the latter is? Please get away from this horrible SharePointy way of doing everything. Users don't want it, developers don't want it. It just makes things ugly.I don't want to know or care that SharePoint sits behind this thing - hide it from me, don't put it front and centre (that goes for the whole of Office 365, not just Video).
